Developed for the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum’s exhibit Weather To Climate: Our Changing World, Carbon Reducer is a choose-your-own-adventure experience designed to educate users about the simple ways they can reduce their own carbon emissions throughout their day.
The game features fully animated sequences that play out different based on the user’s input, ultimately giving them a score at the end of the experience and encouraging them to try again to make better choices. The interactive has toured various museums around the country and was ported online in 2020 as part of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum’s online offerings during the Covid-19 Pandemic
Designed in conjunction with the exhibit design team at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, responsible for the coding and installation of the interactive.
