Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
Developed for the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum’s exhibit Our House: Rethinking Home in a Changing Climate, Coastline Challenge is a touchscreen interactive designed to educate users about the challenges of construction in coastal areas, as climate change continues to disrupt the planet’s weather patterns and rising sea levels cause communities closer to sea level to be adversely affected. Players can drag and place their home anywhere on the beach, and then must select different types of sea barriers to evaluate how effective and environmentally friendly they are at protecting their residence.
Designed in conjunction with the exhibit design team at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, responsible for the coding and installation of the interactive.
