Materials Science Dual-Screen iPad Interactive
Developed for the Museum of Science and Industry, this interactive game was developed for the museum's Materials Science exhibit. The game challenges players to construct a magnet for various purposes, and identify what element is best suidted for the task. Players select from any element on the periodic table, and test it to see if it (and it's class) is viable as a magnet. If the element is viable, it is dropped down to the second networked iPad, where players can discover it's various properties, and compare it against other selections to discover which element suits the task best. Once players are shown their results, they are able to see whether their magnet is the best choice, and see viable alternatives as well.
The interactive is housed in two iPad kiosk casings, connected via bluetooth, and mounted to the wall of the exhibit.
